In Saukkoranta you will discover a unique wood-heated sauna<\/strong>, which has a scenic environment. On the opposite beach you can see the harbor and lots of industrial lights. There is also a shipyard in which you may see a ship under construction.<\/span><\/p>

If you are coming to the sauna with a bigger group (over 15 persons) it would be nice, if you could inform us before you come, so we can prepare to warm up the other sauna too. You can send information to our email.<\/p>

Everybody is welcome to our winter swimming center. That’s our motto. A little bit of our club’s history. It was established in 1999 and is called ”Saaronniemen Saukot”. In 2002 we moved to our current place called ”Tammiranta”. Little by little we have repaired our main building, sauna and other buildings to be in the best shape they can be. Today we have about 400 members.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Whether you are a student, employee, retired, or something else, in the sauna and the cold water we are all equal. First when you come to Saukkoranta go into the main building and pay for swimming 8,00 \u20ac (members 4,00 \u20ac). Take your own towel and swimsuit with you. After paying you can go to the sauna which is located down on the shore. Dressing-rooms are also in the same building, men’s on the left and women’s on the right side. It is highly recommended that you take a dip in the water first and after dipping go to the sauna. When you’re done swimming for the last time instead of the sauna go straight to the dressing-room. Dry yourself and put on warm clothes. <\/span><\/p>

Now it’s time to go into the main building, which holds a coffee-shop where you can buy tea, coffee, pastries and soft drinks at a very reasonable price.<\/span><\/p>
